Dr. Grethe Cammermeyer RN, PhD has a 40 year history in health care through the military and Veterans Administration Health Care Systems. She has extensive experience in clinical practice as a clinical specialist and nurse practitioner as well as administrative background in hospital organizations. As a 15 year resident of Whidbey Island, involved in local organizations and owns Saratoga View Adult Home in Langley, she comes to the Hospital Board with expectations of fostering communication between the community to hospital to community to enhance understanding of the interaction between both. Commissioner Cammermeyer will stand for election in November 2009 having been selected to complete the term of retired Commissioner Holly Schoenknecht.
