We provide GREAT SERVICE through PASSION FOR OUR CUSTOMERS. We demonstrate kindness and respect through our behaviors and interactions with our customers, their families, and one another. We put our customers first by empathizing wholly with those we serve.

Standards of Behavior

The Standards of Behavior were developed to reflect Whidbey General's commitment to excellent community health care. A group of employees representing a cross section of our workforce created these standards based on our core values. Our commitment to practice these Standards of Behavior will provide excellent health care for our community and a positive work environment.

Our Vision

Whidbey General Hospital will be the community’s hospital of choice!

Quality is Our Highest Priority

You Can Bet Your Life On it!

With so much attention lately on the financial situation of the hospital, it is important to clarify that this focus on dollars has not distracted us form our main mission of providing a high quality and safe environment.

What Is a Public Hospital District?

Whidbey General is a Public Hospital District. This means it was created, and is supported, by the community specifically to ensure the availability of quality health care services, close to home. As a community-driven institution, we are directly accountable to the people who live here, not to stockholders or some out-of-area corporation.
