Help House – Oak Harbor
They provide assistance with a food bank based upon income guidelines and your immediate need. USDA food commodities are distributed on the first Friday of the month at the Help House and the Masonic Hall in Coupeville. Salvation Army Prescription Funds are available for a one-time maximum of $50 per voucher per prescription. Telecare for elderly and shut-ins.
Senior Information & Assistance
Senior Information & Assistance provides information and assistance to all residents of Island County who are 60 years or older. Examples of assistance include the following: Social Security, household help, delivered meals program (Meals on Wheels), transportation for medical appointments, referrals made to DSHS, and respite care. Nutritional supplements are also available.
