The Purpose of Post Partum Exercise is to establish a baseline exercise program for post partum mothers to help them achieve pre-pregnancy physical fitness through:
- Cardiorespiratory Endurance
- Muscular Fitness
- Flexibility
- Body Composition

- Improve Overall Well-being and Create a Healthy Lifestyle for Yourself

This three session program is free of charge for new moms who deliver at Whidbey General Hospital. We welcome new moms who do not deliver at WGH for $15.00 per session.
An excerise physiologist or other trained specialist does an initial interview and medical evaluation. Exercise prescription is based upon your functional capacity and post partum fitness level. Please consult your physician for initial referral to any exercise program.
