Jiang, Peter YZ, MD
Peter Jiang, MD, oversees the clinical research efforts at the Cancer Partnership. He graduated in 1986 from the Hua Bei Medical College in Tangshan, China. He then earned his Ph.D. in cancer immunology at the Royal Postgraduate School at the University of London. He served as research associate and staff scientist in cancer immunology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, and went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at Yale University's program at Bridgeport Hospital in Connecticut. He then came to the Pacific Northwest and served as a clinical oncology fellow at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Reseach Center. Dr. Jiang's research projects have been widely publicized, and as a clinical researcher, he brings current medical research in ocology from the lab bench to the bedside through various clinical trials at the Cancer Partnership. Dr. Jiang has also been with the Whidbey General Hospital Medical Ambulatory Care unit since 2002.
