Community Grant Program

Due to current economic and philanthropic conditions, the Whidbey General Hospital Foundation Board of Directors has regretfully cancelled the Community Grant Program. No proposals will be sought, accepted or awarded in 2010.

These grants fund community health initiatives on Whidbey Island through applications submitted annually from non-profit organizations, including public health and related groups and individuals.   The application criteria and forms are available after February 15th each year at the Foundation office or on-line.  The annual application deadline is April 30th.   The Board reviews the applications in May and announces the awards in June.

Through these grants, the Foundation annually provides substantial funding for qualified programs.
